YouTube Hosted Adsense Not Working In Blogger Explained With Solutions 2020

Adsense has updated their policy not to use YouTube hosted account for bloggers. Since users started to use it in a non profitable way. Only just name sake adsense account has been created via YouTube which made lots of unused accounts or policy violated accounts. In order to stop that from happening they made clear to use content based adsense accounts to show ads on blogger. 
So how you gonna get adsense for your blog? Well there are 2 ways you can make that happen.

SOLUTION 1:

You need to submit your blog for review and let them decide whether it is content worthy to posses ads on pages. This happens only when you have no adsense account related to the blog or email id you use to sign in for blogger.



On "Earnings" option, click on "HOW TO QUALIFY FOR ADSENSE". You will have to follow the steps for verification and submit for approval process. Which might take a day or two to check whether your site is eligible for adsense or not.

SOLUTION 2:

If you already have an adsense account via YouTube then on "Earning" option in blogger it will show publisher id related to that account. At this point even if you click on "show ads on blog" will do no good.

What you need to do is buy a custom domain in any of the DNS service provider like google domains or godaddy etc and add your custom domain name in "Settings" - Publishing - blog address - "Set up a third-party URL for your blog".

Once you have your own domain for blogspot then go to your adsense dashboard and submit your site for review and approval.
